We have a thriving over 50s table tennis club at Keighley Table Tennis Centre. The club operates each day of the week Monday – Friday and is overseen by friendly and helpful volunteers.
The sessions are very inclusive and new players are always welcome.
Whether you consider yourself an experienced player, or have never picked up a table tennis bat before, there is a session for you. Regardless of your age (as long as you are over 50), your gender or your ability, you will be welcome at our sessions. We have three sessions per week which are aimed at people who to want play socially or who are returning to table tennis and two sessions per week which are aimed at more experienced players.
Please see below for the details:
Session days and times:
Social / Return to play sessions:
Monday – 12:30pm to 2:30pm
Wednesday – 10am to 12noon
Friday – 10am to 12noon
More experienced sessions:
Tuesday – 10am to 12noon
Thursday – 10am to 12noon
The cost for each session is £5 which is reduced to £3 for people who have membership of the table tennis centre. All sessions include a free drink either from the freshly ground coffee machine or a cold drink half way through the session.
There is limited equipment to lend out at the sessions should you wish to borrow a bat. We are able to get hold of bats for as little as £15 should you wish to buy one.
Adult coaching sessions:
We have several coaching sessions for adults throughout the week as well as some more informal drop-in sessions aimed at allowing adults to meet other players and practise with different people. All of these sessions are detailed in the ‘adult’ section of the website which can be located from the home page.
